Residency Application Procedure

Applications for residency are accepted through

Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) ONLY.

This service, which is sponsored by Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), transmits residency applications, letters of recommendation, Dean's letters, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from medical schools to residency program directors. We do not require any documents in addition to ERAS requirements.

Please refer to ERAS or the contact person at your school in order to learn more about applying for residency.

The Department of Anesthesiology participates in the National Resident Matching Program. Through this program, 12 residents will be selected to participate in our programs. Positions will be available in the 3-year advanced program and in the 4-year categorical program.

Interviews

Interviews will be conducted on The Ohio State University Campus during November, December and January. Interview dates for 2009-2010 are posted below. All applicants selected for an interview will be notified via e-mail as soon as possible.
